The open folder icon in the window erratically fails to open the download folder.Īfter much crashing, when reloaded, it pops up a window, the doesn’t work but there’s a button that works, so I then needed to re- with email and supplied code, then it started working again. It’s player is a small letterbox ( ! ), so if we want to actually see the full frame, exit to play in anything external video player program. It downloaded MP3, even though it indicated MP4 in it’s window. It doesn’t seem to have a way to STOP an errant download ( I wanted songs, not videos, but I have to wait for the videos to download before I can go back and select the MP3 option instead ). Maybe we can put a playlist link in the search bar to get a group of individual songs, I did not try – someone should try this. It nicely brought up albums for performers, no need to go find a playlist to put in the search bar, it even offers to to deal with folks who upload an entire album/CD in one video ( oops, it split one song in half ! ). Soft Orbits MP3 Downloader for Youtube v1 works well for basic one-track downloads for me otherwise, offering MP3, no quality choices, but they sound ok, or MP4 with resolution choices, but NO option to download both at once. Soft Orbits MP3 Downloader for Youtube v1 looks like a clone-ish of the interface layout of Abelssoft’s FREE YouTubeSongDownloader.
Their in-program button ‘does not allow sending links’, which I am not doing, so I’ll send a note to their email address: Too bad Soft Orbits MP3 Downloader for Youtube v1 just crashes out when trying to change the destination folder for saving music on one of my Windows 7 64 Pro computers, perhaps an argument with calls to Windows File Explorer.
